Felix is an award winning Cinematographer working internationally on feature films, high end TV drama and commercials. He is drawn to emotionally powerful and thought provoking material.
Felix engages in the filmmaking process with an open mind, imagination and sensitivity. Working with exceptional directors, producers and actors, Felix’s body of work includes a number of award winning and critically acclaimed projects. He is equally comfortable photographing large scale productions and smaller independent films.
Felix's recent feature films include Pete Travis’ neo-noir thriller CITY OF TINY LIGHTS starring Riz Ahmed and the psychological drama AWAY, starring Timothy Spall and Juno Temple.
His latest Television project is Julian Jarrold's dystopian science fiction THE HOODMAKER, part of the anthology series PHILIP K DICK'S ELECTRIC DREAMS for Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures and Channel 4.
Felix won the 'BSC Award for Best Cinematography in a TV Drama’ by the British Society of Cinematographers in 2016 for his work on THE GO-BETWEEN, an evocative period drama directed by Pete Travis for the BBC.
Felix has also been nominated for the same award in 2014 for the cold war spy thriller LEGACY directed by Pete Travis, and in 2017 for THE WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION, an atmospheric drama set in 1920s London directed by Julian Jarrold.
